My Story

Wanda Swift-Horne is a native of Benton Harbor, Michigan, whose story is one of resilience, transformation, and destiny. Growing up in a family where faith was not emphasized, her early experiences shaped a complex perception of faith. Her only exposure to church was through her grandmother and mother, who occasionally attended a Seventh-day Adventist church. Despite this, Wanda made a personal vow at a young age to never attend church again. Yet her natural charisma, determination, and leadership shone through. Throughout her school years, from elementary through college at Grambling State University, she excelled in academics and athletics, serving as Senior Class President, Homecoming Queen, and a decorated Track and Field champion, while also competing in basketball, cheerleading, cross country, volleyball, and softball.

Despite her achievements, Wanda faced deep personal struggles. The tragic loss of her brother led her into rebellion, nightlife, and substance use as she searched for escape from grief. For years, she lived far from the promise of her leadership and gifts.

At age 26, Wanda experienced a profound spiritual transformation that changed the course of her life. Today she stands as a testimony of God’s grace and redemption, guiding others into their own journeys of healing, purpose, and empowerment. Her mission is to help people embrace their destiny and discover that no story is too broken for God to redeem.
